Hi I'm Kat.

I grew up on the Jersey Shore and now call South Carolina my home.  I have always been drawn to taking pictures.  It wasn't until a college hands-on photography course, where I learned all the details of how to use my camera, how to develop my own film, and process my own prints, that I truly began to appreciate the process.  These days the camera in front of me is very different yet very much the same. I am still as passionate about photography as I was then. I love seeing the beauty in our world, capturing moments in time, and sharing them with others.  When I'm not out shooting or running my cat rescue, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Sean, and our rescue dogs Asuka and Tali and five rescue cats  Tink, Kati, Nimue, Maylee and Ivy. 

My goal with photography is to capture that feeling of a new place for the very first time — freezing it to be shared and re-lived over and over again, finding what makes YOU and capturing your story forever in a single frame, or creating timeless images of your pet's unique personality.
